As a beloved brand in South African households for 47 years, AMC Cookware has a legacy and strong history with its audience. Here the challenge was twofold:

One: To take a creative approach to eCommerce in order to support the sales consultants’ abilities to sell and derive commission and

Two: To update AMC’s online identity in order to appeal to a younger and more tech-savvy audience.

AN E-COMMERCE APPROACH THAT LETS ONLINE CUSTOMERS SHOP AND CONSULTANTS CLOSE DEALS

Previously, AMC Cookware’s legacy infrastructure of sales consultants was not able to expose product and client information to ‘the cloud’.
The agency went beyond their designated digital solution to physically install new hardware at the AMC headquarters, making it possible to move information from their servers to data centres around the world.
This eCommerce approach allowed customers to make purchases online, and their network of sales consultants capable of closing sales in the field through the use of tablet and mobile devices.
